We’re hiring a
Program Implementation Lead

VPL is looking for a Program Implementation Lead to join our fast-growing team.  This person will lead the onboarding process of new VPL customers and will act as the liaison between Sales, Account Management and the customer until the new customer is fully implemented on our products and solutions.  You will be expected to collaborate with each new account to collect data, documents and specifications to ensure each implementation meets the specific needs of the customer. Configuring and customizing our solutions to match customer specifications is a significant part of the implementation lead’s job.  You will ensure project milestones are achieved accurately and within the specified timeframes.   The person filling this role should be able to demonstrate strong project management and customer relationship management skills.  You will have the opportunity to help build a larger implementation team as VPL continues to expand our market share.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as the liaison between Sales, Account Management and the customer during the implementation process
  • Manage the cross functional implementation team members and hold accountability for on-time delivery
  • Produce and execute the pre-agreed implementation plan
  • Provide weekly progress reports to key stakeholders
  • Facilitate customer training in person and/or via video conference
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems to maximize client satisfaction
  • Drives the day-to-day coordination of the project efforts while adhering to standards and sponsor expectations to manage the timeline, scope and requirements to meet the project expectations
  • Manage the relationship with project stakeholders including internal and customers, keeping all informed of progress and issues to manage expectations, uses problem-solving, critical thinking and independent thinking skills to overcome challenges and resolve issues and problems
  • Organize work into manageable and logical groups (work breakdown structure) and determines an effective approach to complete the work
  • Effectively work with all levels, including the customer and internal sponsors, which may include delivering status updates to senior level executives

What You’ll Need

  • A confident and outgoing personality
  • A bachelor’s degree or prior work-related experience equivalent
  • 2 years’ experience with customer service, project management, and/or implementations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to collaborate with people
  • Success working independently as self-starter and within a team environment
  • The ability to learn and assimilate new information quickly
  • Flexibility to adjust to dynamic work environment and ability to contribute to a growing team
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within fixed deadlines
  • The ability to foster valued customer relationships
  • A high level of attention to detail, excellent follow through, and reliability
  • Ability to engage with people across a variety of levels with diverse backgrounds
  • Comfort using web-based software tools
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • A commitment to doing the right things the right way
