Every year, Inc. magazine ranks America’s fastest-growing privately held companies in the Inc. 5000. They unveil the top 5,000 companies online at Inc.com and the top 500 companies from the list in the September issue of the magazine. We’re proud to say that VPL made the list of this year’s most successful small and midsized businesses, coming in at No. 117 in the rankings.
Inc. reported that 2017 saw the most competitive crop of companies in the list’s history, which is pretty impressive for a list that’s helped some of the country’s most dynamic companies—Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp and Zillow to name a few—garner their first national exposure. This year, the average company achieved a mind-boggling three-year average growth of 481%. For the record, VPL’s three-year sales growth was 3,422%.
The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $206 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 619,500 jobs over the past three years. Complete results of the Inc. 5000 can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.
